Why Choose An Organic Weed Killer?

More councils, schools and property owners are moving away from glyphosate in public spaces, near waterways and where children and pets play. EnviroChem Organic Weed Killer uses natural fatty acids that strip the waxy coating from leaves, so weeds dry out and brown off quickly. It breaks down naturally once applied, so you can use it with confidence around homes, gardens and shared spaces.

Where To Use It

  • Paths, driveways, pavers, bricks and cobbles

  • Mowing strips along fences and edges, and circles around trees and poles

  • Garden beds (spot-spray around plants you want to keep)

  • Vegetable beds before seedlings come up

  • Playgrounds, sports fields and school grounds

  • Rockeries and potted plants

  • Moss, mould and lichen on building surfaces

How To Use It

  1. Mix. Add 1 part concentrate to 7 parts water. For tough perennials, waxy-leaved weeds and kikuyu, use 1 part to 3 parts water. Shake gently.

  2. Spray. Wet the weed leaves thoroughly. The spray works only where it touches.

  3. Repeat. Spray again a week later to finish off any growth you missed the first time.

For the best results: spray on a dry, warm, still day, and hit weeds while they're young. Because it's non-selective, it will damage any plant it touches, so shield the plants you want to keep.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this weed killer glyphosate-free?

Yes. It's made from coconut fatty acids and sugars and contains no glyphosate.

How fast does organic weed killer work?

It works on contact. Weeds usually start to wilt and brown quickly, especially in warm, sunny weather.

Will it kill weeds permanently?

It kills the leaves it touches. Deep-rooted weeds like dock and kikuyu can regrow, so spray again a week later and keep treating any regrowth.

Will it harm my lawn or garden plants?

Yes, if you spray them. It's non-selective, so spot-spray weeds only and shield the plants you want to keep.

Can I use it in vegetable gardens?

Yes. You can use it to clear vegetable beds before your seedlings emerge, and to spot-spray weeds between established plants.

How much water do I mix it with?

Mix 1 part concentrate to 7 parts water for most weeds, or 1 to 3 for tough perennials and kikuyu. One 5L container makes up to 40L of spray.

Do you sell bulk sizes?

Yes. We stock 5L and 20L, and supply 200L drums and 1,000L IBCs on request. Call 0800 242 015 for pricing.
